The new building has side goals installed but not the main end goals, and the courts will be sealed over the next week or so. It’s complete other than that, and signage started going up on the exterior today. The facility will be ready in time for the men’s team’s first official practice.

—After the UE women’s soccer team beat Illinois State 4-1 on Sunday behind Abby Springer’s hat trick, the freshman forward earned Offensive Player of the Week honors from the Missouri Valley conference and was named a Primetime Performer by CollegeSoccer360.com. The MVC also recognized sophomore Taylor Brand as its Defensive Player of the Week.
