Ticket deal includes Simmons bobblehead

UE announced a ticket deal Monday that involves a bobblehead of coach Marty Simmons from his Aces playing days.

It will cost just $30 to get a pass into each Coaches vs. Cancer Classic game at the Ford Center from Nov. 15-17, and included in the price is the bobblehead.

“I guess it was in a weak moment when I agreed to this,” Simmons joked Monday night on his weekly radio show. “It could have been a lot worse — I can tell you that. I don’t know. We’ll let the fans decide on that.”

After playing at Notre Dame on Saturday to kick off their season in Coaches vs. Cancer, the Aces host Buffalo on Nov. 15, Yale on Nov. 16 and Western Illinois on Nov. 17.

There are a limited number of the bobbleheads, and fans can pick up the momento with the ticket purchase starting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when offices at the Carson Center open up.
