Coaches vs. Cancer Classic officials released tournament’s full schedule this week that lists matchups for the subregional rounds hosted by UE at the Ford Center.
This finalizes dates for all of UE’s games this year except for BracketBusters in February, which is a road contest to be announced later.
No TV is listed for the subregional games. The Aces’ regional round contest and season opener Nov. 10 at Notre Dame will be broadcast on ESPN3.com.
According to the schedule, Western Illinois and Yale will actually play Sunday in Oakland City. It could be worse — part of Saint Joseph’s Coaches vs. Cancer slate now includes an exhibition against a school called Wheeling Jesuit.
Notre Dame, Saint Joseph’s, BYU and Florida State will all move on from their regional rounds to the championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., regardless of results. The rest go to subregional sites Atlanta and Evansville.
From Nov. 15-17, the Evansville subregional schedule looks like this:
Thursday, November 15 at 7:05 p.m. – Buffalo vs. Evansville
Friday, November 16 at 4 p.m. – Western Illinois vs. Buffalo with Yale vs. Evansville to follow.
Saturday, November 17 at 4 p.m. – Buffalo vs. Yale with Western Illinois vs. Evansville to follow.
Sunday, November 18 at 1 p.m. — Yale vs. Western Illinois at Oakland City, Ind.
