–Official men’s basketball practices start a week from today. And six days from today, UE will host its men’s basketball media day. Look for lots of great information to come out of that.

–With the Missouri Valley Conference’s announcement today releasing its MVC TV dates, there’s a complete look now at which UE games will be broadcast this season.

I wrote a story in today’s paper about women’s soccer goalkeeper Simone Busby. Since the freshman has started, the Aces haven’t lost. And that’s a big change for a team that did nothing except lose all but one of its games before she took over.

–No home sports today. Both men’s and women’s cross country ran at Tennessee Tech, and the women’s tennis team started play at the Missouri Valley Conference’s individual championships. Volleyball plays at Southern Illinois at 7 p.m. Follow live stats for that match here.

–The men’s soccer team hosts its “Kick for the Cure” match at 7 p.m. Saturday against Marshall. The Aces will wear pink jerseys in honor of breast cancer awareness.
