While plenty of upper-bowl tickets will be available for walk-up to Saturday’s UE men’s basketball game against 23rd-ranked Creighton, the Ford Center’s lower bowl is nearly sold out.
Brooke Robinson, UE’s director of ticketing services and athletic events, said enough tickets have been sold that the Ford Center’s north end — normally curtained off — will be open for the Bluejays game, which tips at 2 p.m. and airs on ESPN U.
The to-be-sold upper bowl tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for kids. They’re expected to be available to walk-up fans before Saturday’s game.
Meanwhile, Robinson said it’s likely the lower bowl will sell out before game day.
The game is being billed by the university as “Pack the Ford Center Purple.” The largest announced attendance at a UE game so far this season was the 7,358 figure for the University of Southern Indiana exhibition in October.
Following the men’s game, the UE women host Illinois State at 5 p.m.
