–The women’s soccer team wraps up its weekend vs. Valparaiso today at Arad McCutchan Stadium:

–The men’s golf team is the other UE team in action today, kicking off the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate in Normal, Ill., today. Sophomore Alex Turner and senior Quinn Vilneff headline a strong returning squad.

–The men’s soccer team had an impressive 3-1 victory over Georgia State last night. Sophomore Mark Anthony Gonzalez scored two goals in the game — three minutes apart — and Dylan Terry added the insurance goal late in the first half. All four goals were scored in the first half. –The volleyball team wrapped up its home tournament yesterday, splitting two matches. The Aces rallied back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Memphis, 3-2, in the first match on Saturday, but dropped their final match to Valparaiso, 3-1.

–At the beginning of the season, Kelby Jenkins said she wanted to break UE’s 5k record, and just three meets into this year, Jenkins is coming very close. On her way to a convincing win, the senior ran a personal-best time of 17:35, just five seconds off the all-time mark. On the men’s side, Josh Genet paced UE to a first-place finish in the Division-I bracket, finishing third in a time of 25:57 for the 8k race. The full results can be found here.

–The women’s tennis team finished out the SIU Edwardsville tournament with more good results. Mina Milovic followed up a perfect Friday with another perfect day, finishing 3-0 on the weekend in singles. On the doubles side, No. 1 pair of Natasha James and Marketa Trousilova were victorious on Saturday, defeating a duo from SIUE.
