–ICYMI: After rumors circulating for months, the men’s basketball team officially added a transfer yesterday. Mislav Brzoja comes to the program after a year at Villanova, but won’t be eligible to play until the 2014 season. He’s a 6-foot-4 swingman who was highly recruited coming out of Traders Point Christian Academy.

According to the Wichita Eagle’s Paul Suellentrop, MVC men’s basketball schedules are supposed to be released to the schools today and tweeted they should be released next week. Keep your eyes peeled.

–Today is #MVCColors day, and Aces student-athletes and fans have all been spotted wearing purple. Here are a few from this morning:

–The juniors that populate the men’s soccer team have a close connection, which is one of the main reasons the Aces are poised for a breakout season. I talked with a few of the third-year players about what makes that bond so special between them, and the story can be found in today’s paper.

–Look for two blog posts today about the women’s soccer team and the volleyball team. I spoke with coaches and players about their upcoming games/matches this weekend and will be posting their thoughts later today.
