—With its loss last night to Creighton, paired with Bradley’s 1-1 tie to Central Arkansas, the UE men’s soccer team enters this week’s Missouri Valley Conference tournament seeded fourth of seven teams. The Aces play fifth-seeded Drake in the opening and quarterfinal round at 3 p.m Friday. Click here for a full MVC tournament bracket, which places Creighton on the opposite side as UE. That’s not necessarily what the Aces hoped to see, mostly because they want a rematch with the Blue Jays.

—UE and Notre Dame will tip at 1 p.m. Saturday, the schools announced today. With the Aces playing in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic the next two weeks, including the season opener at Notre Dame, here’s a link explaining how the tournament works schedule-wise. Yale plays its final game in Oakland City because it didn’t want players to miss the extra day of classes by showing up Nov. 15.
—The UE women’s basketball overcame an early deficit to knock off USI in their only exhibition before Friday’s season opener at Ball State. The Aces also play at Illinois on Sunday.
—At 8-19 overall and 3-11 in MVC play, it’s now impossible for the UE volleyball team to make the six-team conference tournament after Friday’s 3-1 loss to Southern Illinois. Illinois State is 8-6 and in sixth place in the league, and the Aces have just four matches left this season.
—The UE swimming and diving teams are still looking for their first win after Friday’s loss at Missouri State.
