Apologies for no blogs yesterday — there were some malware issues with the blog, but they’re all fixed now.
Some results from Friday’s UE sports:
–The women’s soccer team pulled out a 3-2 OT victory over IUPUI last night. Lauren Tiernan gave the Aces the 1-0 win in the 96th minute.
–The volleyball team dropped its match to Miami (Ohio) in the opener of the Miami Tournament.
–The men’s soccer team played its third consecutive overtime game, this time beating Northern Illinois in the opener of the Bearcat Soccer Classic. Faik Hajderovic scored the game-winner in the 93rd minute. Here’s a video of the absolute snipe from about 30 yards out:

Men’s and women’s cross country competed in the Walt Crawford Open, hosted by Eastern Illinois. Kelby Jenkins finished second for the women and Josh Genet took ninth.
